Refund & Cancellation Policy
Our policies on subscriptions, returns, and replacements.

At businesscardX, we want you to be satisfied with your purchase. Please review our refund and cancellation policy below.
Subscription Cancellation
- You may cancel your subscription at any time through your Shopify account at businesscardx.com/account or by emailing us at contact@businesscardx.com.
- Cancellation takes effect at the end of your current billing period. You retain full access to all features until then.
- We do not offer prorated refunds for partial billing periods.
- Upon cancellation, your digital profile will be deactivated and will no longer be accessible via NFC tap, QR scan, or direct link.
- Your account data is retained for 30 days after cancellation in case you wish to reactivate. After 30 days, it is permanently deleted.
Free Trial Cancellation
- If you signed up with a 30-day free trial, you may cancel at any time during the trial period at no charge.
- If you do not cancel before the trial ends, your subscription automatically converts to a paid monthly plan and your payment method will be charged.
- Please note: Your NFC card is printed and shipped during the trial period. The shipping fee charged at signup is non-refundable, even if you cancel during the trial.
NFC Business Cards — Refund Policy
Because every businesscardX card is custom printed with your name and personalized details, we are unable to accept returns or issue refunds for cards that have been printed as ordered.
We will replace or refund your card if:
- The card arrives with a printing error (wrong name, misspelling that was not in your order)
- The card is damaged during shipping (bent, scratched, cracked)
- You never received your card (lost in transit)
To request a replacement or refund for a defective card, email us at contact@businesscardx.com within 30 days of delivery with:
- Your order number
- A photo showing the issue (if applicable)
- A description of the problem
We will either send a free replacement card or issue a full refund at our discretion.
We cannot offer refunds for:
- Cards printed correctly as ordered (including if you made a typo in your order)
- Change of mind after the card has been printed
- Cards that work as intended but you no longer wish to use the service
Replacement Cards
Need a new card? Replacement cards can be ordered through the app at any time for $40 CAD per card (plus shipping). Custom logo cards are an additional $45 CAD (free for ELITE subscribers).
Shipping Fees
Shipping fees are non-refundable. Standard shipping is $15 CAD (free on orders over $100 CAD). Express shipping is available for $25 CAD.
Token Purchases
Premium token packs are non-refundable once purchased. Unused tokens do not roll over to the next month and have no cash value.
Annual Subscriptions
Annual subscriptions are billed upfront for the full year. If you cancel an annual subscription partway through the year, you retain access until the end of the paid period. We do not offer partial refunds for the unused portion of an annual subscription.
